Yes indeed, how many battery manufacturers would put in a bid for a ton of the rock pictured in the announcement ?
While the CEO marvels at the discovery's proximity to the historical mine,
I marvel at the proximity of Wilson's Prospect to the holes that were drilled and reported late last year.

"61 rock-chip and 251 soil samples were collected" and 19 were reported.
Wilson's Prospect is just 300 meters from 4 of those Drill Holes.
That is about 3 minutes walk down into a shallow depression where the outcrop lies.
The assays from those 4 Drill Holes (24~114m) showed very little Lithium.
Interestingly the 12/10/2022 ann contains a map that outlines 34 "Exploration Targets".
(Wilson's Prospect is not one of those targets).

Most targets correspond with locations where, IMO, the geophysics would indicate that
highly fractionated pegmatites might be found.
