And Hitler type fixes are not a fix for anything unless you hate your fellow man. Hitler was a psychopath, probably from childhood but certainly by the end of WW1. You might say he got the wheels of industry running again (so that he could build weapons of war) or that he created prosperity out of Depression, but at what cost? Brainwashing the people to turn against millions of their fellow citizens. And much of that prosperity came from rebuilding the armament industries and pillaging neighbouring countries on his way to setting off another world war that would not only decimate his own people (whom in the end he blamed for failing him) but countless millions of other people all over the world. Of course Japan and it's own Imperial ambitions had a hand in that.
