One area where there is a large upside potential : average utilisation rate. Looking at the last presentation of Tourism Holding (May 23), they have now an average utilization rate for their commercial fleet of 70-75 % in Australia and 60-65 % in NZ.
It is probably more complicated to calculate for Camplify as we do not know, on average, how many days, RV are available on the platform. Camplify mentions that 50 % of owners have earned over $ 5,000 on Camplify. So, I use this figure as a proxy for the average earning per owner, which corresponds to around 40 days of utilization per year. So, if we estimate that owners use their RV for 30 to 60 days on average, it may be available on the platform for at least 300 days. Based on this 300 days availability on the platform*, we can estimate Camplify utilization rate at only 13 % vs 60 %+ for THL with its commercial fleet.
