No mention of anti drone technology, but the Boxer is a most flexible reconnaissance vehicle, and I would imagine Germany will be configuring at least one for antidrone activity, arming it with both soft and compact direct energy weaponry for detection and threat removal, given the scale of drone use against tanks etc. That detail w ould be missing in a broader political announcement, and may be sensitive anyway.
So I wouldn't write off the contract as having no implications for DRO, who, as we know, has been trying to build inventory of key non ageing parts and products.
