I would urge people to donate if they can.
It is tempting to freeload in these situations, but it is in everyone's rational self-interest to keep the pressure on the board.
It is clear they are prioritising the "liquidity needs" of large shareholders, in large part, because a corporate transaction will result in them getting their "performance shares."
But if a EGM is called and an independent director is appointed, they will at least need to weigh the reputational risks (against their own personal gain) when deciding the best path forward. None of them will enjoy the prospect of being dismissed in disgrace, or for uncomfortable truths about the rapid demise of FFX to come to light.
So, please, donate if you can. It's really not fair that a few people have to do all the work and cover the legal fees.
