Thanks @shovel40, @Fiji1 and morning crew.
Half-time wrap:
The share market climbed towards its first win in five sessions as a positive night on Wall Street fuelled a broad rally.
The ASX 200 bounced 78 points or 1.11%. All 11 sectors advanced, led by tech and property stocks. Gold and lithium miners provided some of the morning's best returns.
A report this morning showed Australian consumers felt slightly less pessimistic about the economy this month. Westpac's consumer sentiment gauge improved by 2.7% to 81.3, but remained far below the 100-point level where optimists outweigh pessimists.
Meanwhile, business confidence moved from negative to neutral as trading conditions remained well above the long-term average.Personal trading: A clean-up session for me before taking a break. Got stuck in a couple of losing positions yesterday. Would give them more time in other circumstances, but don't want the distraction of trade management during the break. Closed out TCL (small profit), ONE and GSM (small losses).
