Fact checking. With caption (source, published 31st August 2022):
Please explain how this replies to the comment: "can’t just go out to the local gun shop and buy a gun for use in the military." Firstly, carrying a weapon on base has nothing to do with using them in combat. Secondly, Trump proposed this. Thirdly, it was never approved.
Perhaps you can cite your source of where people in the military can go out and decide to buy whatever weapons they like for use in combat?
