My take on Salitre South below from what we currently know.

Brazil due to climate has a significant weathering profile, ergo outcrop are somewhat concealed (just go look at SLM’s 50+m wide pegmatite and the cover sitting on top of it in that garimperio photo. The upshot here is if you find a pegmatite, there can easily be a few adjacent sub parallel ones that don’t outcrop that in totality make a pegmatite swarm/system etc ala LRS.

GMN’s Salitre South is 30-40km from SLM’s Jaguar prospect, one of the first pegmatites identified in the Bahia province to contain a LCT spodumene pegmatite. A new spodumene province?

On 19/06 GMN’s announcement shows Salitre South to have a prospect that has 460m of strike where spodumene has been identified in a potentially sub parallel pegmatite system/swarm.

On 14/06 they show their soil sampling grid in relation to this outcrop and additional outcrops. There is another undeformed spodumene bearing pegmatite ~400m to the east and another roadside outcrop ~2km to the north east. Is the undeformed pegmatite 400m to the west a different generation pegmatite? Or undeformed due to host rock rhealogy? (conglomerate vs schist)). Potentially this is a 2km x 400m target zone? With a fairway of prospective strike up to another 10km to the north east?

Awaiting soil/rock assays. I know people are whining about the past but in reality this sentiment provided a great entry, the above is my interpretation of the information provided to date. These things are speculative so position sizing is important, dyor.
