IMO one thing that's been lost on many people is that the referendum proposal has only just been approved by Parliament and only just been launched - campaigning will be over the next 4-5 months during which time Australians will get to reflect, clarify and decide.
If Albanese persists in often being overseas throughout that period and therefore fails to inject energy, credibility and clarity into the 'YES' campaign to counter the ignorance and confusion already created by Peter Dutton and his corporate backslappers there's every chance it'll be lost, leaving Albanese with egg on his face and responsibility for having failed Australia's First Nations Peoples.
