I too am a huge yes to this move. Been here since the options days and I think this is as good a move as they have made. We've been talking for years about how far behind the Australian market is compared to the US when it comes to valuing biotech companies, specifically those within our sphere of research. It looks as if this wont be changing in the near future although I do think the recent regulatory changes regarding psychedelics ect is a step in the right direction we're still a long way behind our US counterparts. The appetite for our risk/reward profile over on the NASDAQ will be much larger with far deeper pockets so I hoping that we see a greater appreciation for the amazing drug candidates we have and our diverse IP. Believe the BOD have been working towards this for a long time now following our initial NASDAQ listing and their comments regarding a time in the future where the liquidity and volume on the US markets would far outweighs those at home here in Aus.
Also, confused as to the comments about share price being low (Aus) high (US) and the comparison - really shouldn't matter. $200 million market cap at $8 a share is the exact same as a $200 market cap at 12c a share. Shouldn't make a different, when they acquire one of our products for $5-$10 billion your profit percentage will stay the same.
Onwards and upwards, wouldn't say I've enjoyed the ride the last 18 months but I have always been very confident in the direction we are heading in. Loving some of the insights, analysts and debates on these forums appreciate it.
