That's an important point and one that the YES Campaign will need to address much better. But they need to keep it simple:
1. Embedding the RECOGNITION of Australia's First Nations Peoples in the Constitution.
2. Empowering Parliament to establish the structures and processes for a 'Voice to Parliament' - ensuring First Nations Peoples are heard on matters which impact on them.
3. Respecting First Nations Peoples by hearing their ideas on how 'the gap' can be reduced - doing things smarter rather than to suit ideological agendas, religious organisations and multinational resource companies.
The YES Campaign will need to do much better than it has thus far because the NO Campaign only has to spread doubt, confusion, misinformation and fear while refusing to provide any details whatsoever about itself and its motives.
