Yeh it’s his ego, he can’t admit he’s wrong so he resorts to pretending that no one else actually gets what’s going on or that they can’t comprehend things. Coupled with spinning and pivoting. He’s been wrong multiple times and just can’t admit it.
he’s already laying the ground work for saying “it was never cf+ by June” so he can quickly pivot to that when it’s confirmed there’s no cf+
