yes, they sure do have an existing relationship in AU, but this takes it even further and opens to more of their countries... but i did notice a few important things about the press release ... (unsaid), but i am sure with the size of US and DPE (and others) this will be at a materially better %% rate than cafes etc pay Uber commission... Also noted in release this allows DPE to participate in UBER's 'Free Delivery' promotions which will be huge for customer acquisition... also, and probably most importantly, the only failing about UBER is the delivery part, there is Zero control or alignment to when the food is ready and when the driver delivers the food.. (resulting in cold/poor food experience)... Domino's will be the delivery arm, which means they control the food coming out of the oven, and a ready driver only doing 1 (rarely 2) deliveries... unlike UBER where a driver might do 3-4 deliveries in a run... (could you imagine being the 4th to receive...yukk).. It's quite a powerful and well considered alignment IMHO, and a better end result for the customer.. (and wider sales offering for Domino's)
