The first part is true.
The second part isn't the whole story. COH would have already been up and running with clinical trials of CS-1 for FTO if RAC hadn't prevented them. So what if RAC became a shell? COH could have bought RAC's patents from the liquidator for nothing. CS-1 wouldn't have been lost forever. On the contrary, progress for patients would have been faster.
You can definitely take personal credit for the amazing cardioprotection discovery, and for RAC's excellent preclinical performance.
