I think marine shipping can tell us a lot, SB has written about the logistics of shipping NAL spod before. 30k tonnes isn't a great deal of material for a medium to large dry bulk carrier, which are often used for iron ore, coal etc, and 30k tonnes wouldn't be very economical to ship to the other side of the globe, especially if it was half this at 15k tonnes, unless loads can be shared with other customers? So what I have read is, this small size load may be more suitable for what they call a handysize bulk carrier (up to 60k tonnes), the thing is these smaller carriers are mainly suited to regional coastal / inland waterways and smaller ports and sometimes ship to larger bulk carriers.
The economics of shipping must have a sizable impact on Offtakes and shipping to customers.
Look forward to tomorrow.
