As has been previously explained, all that could change in the blink of an eye (one decent announcement).
AI is a hot topic and the market estimates for potential applications at the edge are unfathomable. In my view, it doesn't matter if BRN has competitors - the market growth will be astonishing and all players will get a healthy slice.
All it will take is for one success story (one product with huge sales potential, that contains BRN technology under a volume license to hit the market) and that will be the validation needed to switch from downward trajectory to upward trajectory.
Of all the stocks on the ASX currently BRN is the only one I can identify that has the potential to eventually knock CSL off the top ranking. I am not saying it will do that, but it could; such is the nature of the business model, current product and IP trajectory, and the market potential.
Which do you think has more potential ultimate future market size, blood products or edge AI applications?
AI is the key driver behind a brave new world, like or not, there is nothing we can do to stop it - may as well be part of it and put our siphon in.
All my opinion - which is a worry , because I am no expert. Don't make investment decisions based on my rants.
