Well see there's ya problem. Right there. IMO the "phase 3" trials are mislabelled. Phase 3 trials are meant to be "confirmatory". I would class MSB's trials as phase 2, since they are really "exploratory". In addition they all failed to achieve the primary end point, except for the aGVHD trial which the FDA found was unreliable.
So thet's really the stage of development. Multiple failed phase 2 trials...
