Hmmm ... IMHO many people have forgotten that Howard's 'pacific solution' was considered inhumane.
PM Gillard is attempting to find a solution and it is not helpful to have Tony (plonker) Jones continually playing 'bad cop' over every minutiae in a desperate grab for late night 'eyeballs'.
Jones' style was offensive especially given he was interviewing our Prime Minister who is running the country ... pretty easy to be hyper-critical when you are merely running a desk.
Gillard is showing great patience given she is 'up to her a.... in alligators' and no doubt she will be taking advice from her media advisors on how best to handle the likes of Jones & Co.
