I have just been reading the newspaper.
"A Tough Time for Traders.
Save for a brief buying spree in top mining stocks on Thursday morning, this week on Sydney Stock Exchange was a session traders would probably prefer to forget."
Also apparantly the US changes tack on gold.
Newspaper was dated Nov 18 1973, lol.
I have a Victorian "campaign chest (of drawers)" I use as a filing cabinet and have been cleaning things out.
I think a parent lined the drawers with newspaper after our house was destroyed by fire about that time and it was one of the few things saved. All the family silver and photos and letters was lost.
Still it is interesting to read the finance reports and I can report that little has changed.
And yet I am not surprised.
