I don't bother with oil or gas, instead just wanting to learn more about copper, nickel, lithium and the like. A conference gives a great opportunity for an explorer (miner too) to tell the people who have come to listen, watch and learn what the good points are about the company and why they should invest.

People go there with the thought of investing. This sort of forum is mutually ideal.

I was lucky enough to attend a special presentation put on by 4 explorers at the Customs House Brisbane a few years back - fine wine and meal too - and learnt a lot about an explorer called Liontown, one of the said 4. the share price at the time was 2c. Although my interest was piqued, I did not have spare money to buy. LTR is now $2.83.

I was at an earlier standard type conference (a year or so before) at the Gold Coast when Pilbara Minerals presented. The story was new to me but gee it sounded good. However, I did not buy as I was uncertain about the future of hard rock lithium at the time. PLS was also 2c at the time. It is now $5.12.

I am sure that people who attended bought at 2cs in both companies.

This what a conference can do!

Don't be surprised therefore if this conference is a catalyst for growth in market capitalisation for SPQ. Amongst other things, a new investor should not be deterred by the prospect of a foreseeable capital raising. That is a positive (or non-negative) thing, as is the drilling happening at Cockie Creek; also the impending start to the drilling at Bottletree; also the gold; also the sulphide nickel. It is a bit of a smorgasbord. Both LTR and PLS just had lithium.

I concur with Merv on this one .

I went to RRS conference in Brisbane in 2019 to see Pilbara present (after already holding for 3 years). it was the first time I 'discovered' a stick called CHN whose new young MD highly impressed me with his presentation. I walked up to him at the booth and he generously gave me 20mins to chat. I invested 5k at 15c.... the stock went to >$10 ....

this is the power of small cap conferences
