For the first time, I went to Chermside Shopping Centre and all charging spots were taken, first time I have seen this. I normally park and charge the car, but their were 4 Tesla’s taking the 4 spots. It did not matter to me as I didn’t need to charge anyway but it is better to get free charging than pay for it.
This will only get worse as EV’s increase, unless more chargers are provided. (Last week a lady pulled in, in a Merc just after me so I said “have you got the app and connector”. She said yes, but she didn’t have the J1772 but had the type 2 to type 2 cable. She left and parked elsewhere.)
