Yes, I do. Though I do not think that SES is involved. I assume that GM is in (close) contact with SRL again. And yes, you are right: it could easily be any other OEM. My (not so wild) speculation is based on the following:

• Sam was very confident last year that a deal was close (he speculated Q3 / 2022)
• Q P M announced a deal with GM in Q4 / 2022 and Sam turned quiet afterwards
• my question regarding this deal ( Q P M / GM) was answered very briefly by him ("no comment")
• GM will most likely not get enough battery metals from Q P M
• apparently GM needs much more battery metals (see your article)
• the link between GM and SRL is Robert Friedland - so GM is well aware of SRL's existence
• GM has enough financial power and enough demand for a project like SRL
• SRL qualifies for the IRA
