BOT has to pay substantial royalities (license payments) to their licensor. They will look to make a one-off payment to the licensor in order to reduce these royalties. It will be cheaper (but riskier) to do it now, as there is no FDA approval / USA revenue. It ultimately means they can keep more of the income from sales.
