I remember Blitz doing similar poor math, where he thought the graphite in a Tesla was worth US$24k or something ridiculous like that.

On a personal note, I would have been supportive of EGR moving forward with the 5ktpa PSG facility in Kwinana, we had the cash to start building stage 1. The time of construction was 18 months and based on todays graphite prices our cost of producing PSG would be at a similar cost to the Chinese PSG.
Although the company wouldn't be making any money, we would have proven our process works at a commercial scale and secured sales/offtakes which would allow for the modular expansion to be secured with the Government funding.

We all know Europe, Japan, Korea and the USA are all looking for non chinese supply of PSG. The only way I can see this happening is by us moving forward quicker with our production facilities.

On another note, I don't think EGR should have waited around for the government funding for the pilot plant, we had over $40mil in the bank, and the time we spent waiting for the funding for pilot plant, we most likely blew on directors fees and staff costs, Time is money and our current board is costing us all.



Anyway, today's patent has screwed over our parties who have objected to EGR's Australia patent, They are now locked out from using a similar process and selling the PSG in the USA, and we already have applications that will be approved under the bilateral patent treaty,
