Well, to be quite frank, negotiations are defiantly not happening at the present moment. Russia decided to invade Ukraine because there were talks of them joining NATO, obviously not the whole reason to attack but was defiantly one of the main ones. Now, there are negotiations happening for Ukraine to join NATO 'once the war is over.' Unfortunately with these terms in play, Russia will never back down from the war because they resent the thought of Ukraine being closer to their borders with a potential threat (USA and Nato).

So currently, it is amazing how Ukraine has kept Russia back for such a long duration of time. They're getting more money and help from countries such as Australia now who have not been assisting them. Hopefully Russia either runs out of ammunition or their economy gets to a point of collapse, they're not getting much help from outside sources like China, who have refused to assist them in ammunition, they must be running low. Other than that, an election change in 2024.
