But … my Tesla 3 LR costs about $80 a yr for servicing (if that).
The 2017 Audi A3 every time I took for servicing was $2,000 / yr.
The original buy price of the original car for the LR Tesla was slightly more.
On charging, I installed 3 phase (I did for convenience even though I didn’t need to). It cost me $2,800 which included minor other work and pulling a cable underground from the street. Mostly, I charge to a max of 50% at home every few days (unless I am going on a trip) or free charge at Chermside S.T. I have been on a road trip to Bright, Victoria from Brisbane. It was more difficult deciding what Charger to use than look for a charger to use, there were so many chargers.
Not to mention the software updates.
