The reality is that the Chinese, the Indians, and the rest of the third world, are entitled to put the same amount of carbon emissions (if indeed that is the problem) into the atmosphere, as the gluttonous West. People in china, and India, are entitled to the same standard of living as the gluttonous west. Indeed, people in the gluttonous west, are all entitled the same standard of living as Al gore.
For starters, Christians should not care, because, sooner or later, they are expecting the second coming, and I am certain that god would not delay the second coming, till all of mankind had been destroyed (almost destroyed).
If there is no Christian god, then who really cares.. If there are rising seas, and people drown, then the drowning feeling of one person, will simply be experienced by billions - but the feeling is still the same.
The core problem is population. Rudd never believed in the threat of global warming, except in a political sense. Never forget that Rudd, was for a big Australia - which simply means big emissions.
The greens have form, they want us to live in caves, now. (does bob brown live in a cave???)
