that’s certainly part of it. However fear of the impact of all the interest rate rises both on margins and bad debts also is a factor. Humm’s consumer finance demographic is very much mortgage belt so people will want to see what provisions there are there. The SME demographic could also be a concern on the other side. A few solid reports with that fear put to rest will see a better outcome. Humm is certainly not new to this kind of lending, so has the experience and systems to handle it.
