I've actually been curious about this.Let's say I bought 100k shares over 12 months ago. Still holding.
And then I bought another 100k shares last week.If I wake up on Monday and decide to sell 100k shares, I will get the whole cgt discount applied right?
And I will have to wait another 51 weeks to get the cgt discount on the remaining?Essentially what I'm asking, it doesn't matter on the order that you bought and sold, when you sell, it will automatically "use" the oldest shares you own?
