Most miners utilise triple road trains on unsealed roads in WA. WGX haul on dirt from Big Bell part of the way to Cue. The roads naturally are wide and well maintained for haulage.
Pictured is the Dalgaranga access road. These roads have been built for the mine construction and the regular transport to site of heavy equipment, fuel, gas and processing consumables so ore haulage would be fine, would just add to the maintenance budget. Note the 80km/h road sign for an idea of condition.
