Now that Zameen is out of imminent danger (currency deprectation aside), I have some questions about LATAM businesses (where infocasas seems to be showcased as the one closest to transaction-based revenue-model).
I was checking the Web traffic to infocasas.uy and Infocasas.py and the traffic is on the decline. At the same time, traffic to mercadolibre (in both Uruguay and Paraguay) is on the rise. I understand that Mercadolibre's (ML) portal is not dedicated to propoerty, but visits are orders are magnitude more than infocasas (e.g., 10M vs 0.7M in Uruguay) and the trends are in opposite direction. Have Shaun ever explained how much of the ML's visits are related to the propoerty or ML is conveniently left out as a competitor (given the breadth of ML's category coverage--which goes beyond propoerty). Does the #1 status account for propoerty search in broad-category portals or stands on window-dressing?
