Chanticleer in 'AFR' also seems unaware of how most of the time the AZJ intermodal trains between Adelaide and Darwin operate reliably and punctually.
The wet season may occasionally bring challenges but the railway was constructed to quite a good standard, thanks to Coalition PM John Howard and Treasurer Peter Costello at the time.
