Last world cup I had a measley $8 left in my wallet after a terrible day with the horses. I put on a multi of 4 rugby league games and the correct score in one of the world cup games. I picked the correct score, and got up in all the other legs, so went to collect my $508. Little did I know, I picked the "correct score" at full-time, not half-time which I had incorrectly marked my ticket as.
I'm sure others would have worse stories though.
