Personally I’ve never spoken to anyone who identifies as aboriginal who doesn’t call themselves Australian so in my opinion, these people have accepted the fact that they are part of Australian culture.

Newsflash mate....Aboriginals have a different culture than European Australia, and yes they are still Australian as you rightly point out.
oh oh...Perhaps thats just one reason why we're known as multi cultural Australia? Just a shame that the aboriginal culture is ignored and not tolerated by many. Thats Australia's ugly underbelly.
