@poyndexter; my concerns re Australia's judiciary are systemic ones.

Nor do I subscribe to trial by selective media reporting - as with what's been reported about the Brittany Higgins case.

It's sickening that in Australia today most women do not report sexual assaults including rape because they're fearful of how they're treated by our courts and in no financial position to compete with the $Multi-$Million teams pitted against them.

My own mother was one such victim who detailed to us how she was raped aged just ten years old in a playground close to her home by a 'gardener'. During the early 1930s her parents were far too poor to make a report that could lead to court processes - she had to grimace and bear it just like so many women have to even today.
