Yes I read that Pints ----------------------- I can up your Nobel Prize winner with my Nobel prize winner who thinks that's bollocks and has said so for years -

but let's go with this from memory Dr. John Clauser said that he felt there was no climate emergency but, there was a management emergency - something like that.

I'm going to wait for Clauser's comment on this year 2023 --------------- because seeing what is going on now. Clauser might be getting rather restless in his chair with his pipe and slippers as he reads about the Atlantic temperatures and the Antarctica ice lack of winter recovery.

Indeed if these conditions persist for another couple of years --------------- Clauser has put a very bloody big dent in his reputation - and hopefully, if he's any kind of solid character - would come out and say. Look, I apologise, I might have been way wrong there.

It really comes down to - do we take the opinion of someone - no matter who they are --------- or do we look at the ice which used to be there only a few years ago - and now isn't. Do we listen to someone - or do we notice temperatures in the Atlantic being up almost 2 degrees all over in a year - and up 5 degrees in some places ------------ FIVE degrees c ====== and think to ourselves 'that can't be good'

with regard to the point that I was replying to - which was about more extreme weather events ------
as to the research paper I posted - it's about health effects of different things affected by climate ------ what's valuable about that work is the reference list - which is long -

a reader can read the opinion of the paper itself on the increase of each kind of climate emergency - but, the reference list holds a wealth of information - and each of those papers holds a reference list backing up the increases in climate extremes.

why anyone now questions that extreme weather events are increasing is mind boggling really - we've had years to look at this now - it's beyond doubt that emergencies are happening. Thankfully emergency services have improved a lot and predictive services now save thousands.
