Wow, I was not expecting this but I feel glad as a shareholder; this is a great respectful move by management and maintains solidarity with the shareholder.

Worst case scenario would have been a "no" on all resolutions which would have been very embarrassing for them for being so out of touch with the poor price action for the stock.

I was wondering how much sway we as shareholders have; but this shows that it is tangible.

If I understand correctly cancelling these resolutions reduces the likelihood of further equity raise/ dilution before FID. It also forgoes the freebies that would have diluted us further. With Rockrose in partnership, they don't need to be participating in the past raise either, they can just buy on market and reduce the shares in circulation if they want to support the company.

I'll be happy for them to take the rewards when the project is over the finish line and in construction; with wealth generated for everyone, including the hundreds or thousands of us putting our hard earned cash on the line by sharing the risk for this development.
