Maybe this metaphor will help.
A patient see's their doctor, has Acute sr GvHD, is under 12 with no approved treatments.
The doctor tells the patient.... we could treat you with this off the shelf msc treatment, but they will need to pay $450,000 USD.
The patient reveals they don't have $450,000, only $50,000.
The Doctor recommends they take out a loan of some kind, to pay for the treatment.
That night the patient gets lucky and wins lotto.
The next day the patient walks into the clinic, and pays the full ammount of $450,000 for the treatment.
Now - what did the doctor " want ".
The patient to get a loan ? Or
The patient to raise the money ?
FDA wanted MSB to provide more evidence....
not run a trial.
tick tock..... I'd be hedgeing those short positions if I were you..... very likely we get a partnership announcement shortly after am approval announcement. Double whammy for shorts.
