    People should temper their expectations as we all know back in 2020 Mesoblast had employed an entire sales team for Ryoncil (aka Remestemcel-L) and we all know how that turned out

    We have also been advised by Mesoblast this time around (2023) that they have a sales team in place in readiness for Ryoncil commercialisation through their existing USA hospital footprint, however this week Mesoblast seem to have boosted recruitment even further for the following positions over and above the sales team already in place .... our esteemed tea lady sent me these links by DM in Twitter so credit goes to her for the sleuthing

    The Center of Excellence Manager - Remote (COEM-R) is responsible for developing and retaining customer relationships to drive business growth in transplant centers across the US. As the key liaison with geographically dispersed transplant centers, the COEM-R will provide guidance to transplant center staff regarding the onboarding process and provide outstanding customer service on an ongoing basis.


    Essential Functions
    • Assist transplant center administration with the onboarding process, providing timely and accurate information and education to ensure an outstanding and compliant customer experience
    • Manage the complexity of remote sales and account management through mastery of technology, e.g., virtual meetings, presentations, etc.
    • Represent and promote Ryoncil by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects in respective geography
    • Call on a variety of decision makers to position Ryoncil for presentation, evaluation, and purchase
    • Prospect and qualify geography of responsibility for new leads through sales calls in person and remotely, via virtual channels
    • Develop and actively maintain a pipeline of sustainable new sales opportunities sufficient to achieve or exceed sales target/quota
    • Work in collaboration with regional team members to grow sales and expand market share by sharing best practices
    • Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, i.e., Marketing, Operations, Quality, etc.
    • Understand and implement necessary steps to pull through and/or overcome managed care challenges related to promoted products
    • Successfully manage allocated resources
    • Attend National, Regional, and corporate sales and training meetings as required
    • Prepares periodic territory business reviews as requested by management
    • Work collaboratively with supervisor, peers, and other key internal corporate personnel to provide insight on strategies that maximize promoted product sales and revenue
    • Adherence to company and Pharma Guidelines
    • Prepare and deliver effective presentations providing solutions to potential customers using approved marketing materials
    • Develop roadmap for identifying potential future key accounts
    • Successfully complete all required compliance and sales training programs
    • Prepare financial analysis, proposals and competitive analysis for CoE’s as well as presenting the information to committee members within a health system/CoE network
    • Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative responsibilities to include submission of sales data, and expense reports

    Required Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field
    Desired Education
    • Master’s Degree in business administration, logistics, marketing, finance or related field
    Required Experience
    • Minimum of three (5) years of business-to-business sales experience required – virtual or outside sales
    • Documented track record of consistent performance exceeding established sales goals/objectives – ability to generate results/impact very quickly and provide examples (successful launch, market share increase, etc.) especially in virtual/remote environments
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Demonstrated teamwork and self - leadership skills/self-starter
    • Ability to travel and possess a valid driver’s license to drive to assigned accounts, unless otherwise specified

    The Head of Talent, US is responsible for managing the human resources strategy and operations for the US organization. The Head of Talent balances the employee needs with resources and is highly skilled at moving from strategic to tactical seamlessly. Works effectively and cooperatively across the to achieve business outcomes through the execution of Human Resources programs and systems. The role reports operationally to the COO and functionally to Corporate Head of HR.


    Essential Functions
    • Identifies and recruits commercial and US based roles for the commercialization of Ryoncil in the US
    • Initiates the US resource requests for permanent employees and PCAIFs for contractors and consultants
    • Drives performance management principles through securing objectives are set, monitored and compensation is aligned with performance attainment
    • Administers the Lattice online platform – goals and measures to align with the corporate platforms and delivery of Corporate strategy
    • Manages the US Onboarding, this will incorporate Induction and orientation
    • Coordinates the training under the guidance of the Sales Training Director
    • Managing US Employee relations and return to office activities
    • Create and maintain the US Electronic files with the confirmation of Corporate Head of HR and the Compensations and Benefits BP
    • Coordinate the How we work committee and incorporating the Australia and Singapore requirements
    • Assists by identifying and operationalizing human resources initiatives such as workforce planning, and talent management programs
    • Explores and prepares proposals for programs that drive value by enhancing the employee experience
    • Coaches and supports management and employees by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions
    • Operationalizes the people strategy by developing processes and systems that enable effective talent management across the employee life cycle to include talent acquisition, employment processing, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention, and AA/EEO compliance
    • Ensures alignment with Corporate HR on core programs, policies and systems while identifying and operationalizing regional policies and programs for the US business to ensure compliance with US regulations
    • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines that communicate and support values and mitigate risk for the organization
    • Develops short- and long-term recruitment strategies that reinforce employer brand and successfully identify and source the appropriate talent for current and future positions
    • Leverages experience in total rewards to evaluate and make recommendations regarding compensation and benefit offerings to ensure market competitiveness
    • Ensures internal communication is drafted and disseminated to keep employees informed of new hires, and other organizational changes
    • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with legal as needed/required
    • Leverages internal experts to collaborate on the design and facilitation of learning and development initiatives and programs that will drive employee development and sustain employee performance, engagement, and retention programs
    • Designs and administers compliance policies, programs, and related training
    • Evaluates HR vendors and makes recommendations that drive greater efficiency in both cost and operational effectiveness
    • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
    • Supports programs and initiatives in other areas of operations to include facilities planning
    Required Education
    • Bachelor’s degree

    • Master’s Degree in human resources, business, or related discipline
    Required Experience
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in HR leadership roles is required
    • Demonstrated track record of employee relations management
    • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, Department of Labor and other regulatory authority provisions that govern employee relations, payroll and benefits programs (e.g. EEOC, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, ERISA, PPACA)
    • Proficient in the use and operation of multiple HRIS/payroll processing systems
    • Proficient with LinkedIn, Indeed, and other social media and career websites
    • Experience managing outsourced HR programs and systems
