No its not dribble. A takeover offer could arrive at any moment. Its unlikely to be before P2 results later this year but the timing is totally in the hands of the offerer. They have to balance the risk of going in too early against the return of beating the competition to the punch and getting the deal done at a lower price.
I suggest you do some reading up on the mechanics of corporate takeovers as there is no doubt that it remains the most likely outcome in our NEU journey.
