ELYRIA KeyBank has leased space for a 3,900-square-foot bank at Midway Market Square on West River Road North.
KeyBank to open branch at Midway Market Square in Elyria

The area is just south of the Midway Mall, according to property owner Centro Properties Group.

The bank is under construction now on the site of the former building that housed the Red Robin and El Jarabe restaurants. That building has been torn down to make room for the new bank, said Carol M. Merriman, senior vice president of marketing for Centro Properties Group.

The KeyBank branch is scheduled to open in the fall and branches typically have up to six employees, KeyBank spokesman Dan Davis said.

KeyBank will not close other nearby branches once the new one opens, Davis said.
