The volume in Australia today was only about 3m MSB shares traded, down from 4m the previous two days, so the mini-panic subsided a bit today, possibly because locking in a price below $A1.20 isn't nearly as attractive to sellers trying to reduce exposure in front of next week's decision.If something has leaked, it isn't from Meso as they haven't been informed of the decision yet.If it has leaked from the FDA they face a 5-year gaol term and having to forfeit any profits made. There are interagency task forces set up to police exactly this sort of thing. Do you really think a chemist from the FDA using his aunt's brokerage account isn't going to be caught by all the sophisticated monitoring? They also monitor any unusual changes in the assets and bank accounts of people with access to the info. So an inside job is pretty unlikely - in the past these guys have been caught and ruined their lives for chump change. An outside job? The info is security controlled and passworded - you'd need Ocean's 11 to hang glide onto the roof of the FDA building, crawl thru the airconditioning, abseil into a room filled with lasers and dangle above the pressure sensitive floor to get access to the info for inside trading.There's no inside info to be had at this stage. The Prof has told us what's going on. We know the FDA's SOPP. The caravan rolls on without any apparent roadblocks, just a bunch of noisy dogs barking and nipping at the wheels. We just have to wait until next week.
