Thanks for your enquiry regarding our development of a PV solution using DSC technology.



Currently one of our pre-painted material production sites in the UK is operating the PV facility on a pilot line scale. Progress to date has been excellent but we are still approx 2 years away from commercialisation.



Whilst the above is a key business development objective for us we have also explored the avenue of post applied, adhesively bonded PVs, i.e. Unisolar laminates, and have developed a pre-painted product suitable and approved for this application. It is called Colorcoat Prisma and amongst a host of benefits has the advantage a warranty to matches that of the Unisolar laminate, e.g. up to 20 years, even in aggressive environments such as NZ.



We do not supply Unisolar laminate PVs but if you are looking for a solution then sourcing Colorcoat Prisma and the Unisolar laminates as individual elements may be a solution.



If you are looking for a local NZ solution the only company I know of that offers a complete package at this moment in time is Calder Stewart down in Invercargill. They offer the same Unisolar laminate as part of a roofing package (or as a retro fit option) but without the advantages of Colorcoat Prisma. They market this under the SOLAR RIB brand. Youd need to contact them to discuss product performance/warranty periods etc which will be greatly influenced by material choice. We do not currently supply Calder Stewart but Ive had contact with them and know that they would be willing to profile Colorcoat Prisma as part of their system should there be a request for it from the market.
