My understanding is double the expenditure on aboriginals

That 33 billion I believe is in top of normal expenditure

I’m not sure who disperses these funds… it appears it’s not funnelled through the NIAA first which you wouldn’t think it all would be, not sure why abbot said that but not sure it really matters. I think the point he was trying to make was they have the NIAA and they also have a truckload of funding.

The fact check also didn’t pick up on the error of Abbott saying the NIAA has hundreds of staff when in fact it’s over 1,000

it’s also misleading to say the voice yes vote won’t lead to treaty, treaty is part of the three point plan… I think this is disingenuous reporting

I would also say it’s disingenuous the claim the voice isn’t permeanent, the reason people really want it is for its permanence. To go and say it could be voted out of the constitution down the track is hypocrisy to the argument but mainly is so farcical it’s borders on misinformation and lies specially the way it’s been written in this article that it’s so difficult to make a constitutional change.

Overall mistruths from all parties in here
