re: spectacolor attempt 2 mmmm - a bit of a worry. should have thought about that before - it is obvious that the space has been available for some time. something tells me that there is something wrong with the maths - just think about it - the cost of the lumacom system is about $4000 per sq metre (not sure if aust dollars or $US dollars - mmmm - maybe zimbabwe dollars!!!!!!), as compared to $15000 per sq metre for a "comparable" conventional sign. cost of a conventional sign, would be about $4m, then the cost of powering such a sign would be somewhere between $500,000 to $1m per year (just a stab in the dark) - plus other maintence costs. the owner of such a sign, would still want to make a profit after allowing for advertising commissions etc etc. the expected revenue, for the lumacom sign, of about $1.2m dollars, seems to be a bit light on,
