Mr Garry Lougher
Shares: 684,945
Garry is an experienced executive and professional director of organisations across transportation, engineering, manufacturing and digital services sectors.. Garry holds both executive and non-executive chair roles that focus on:
~ Business Transformation Leadership
~ Responsibility for P & L
~ Digital Vision
~ High Level Relationships
As a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (ACID), Garry has a genuine commitment to Corporate Governance, Best Practices, Business Turnaround, Environmental Issues and Not-For-Profit business.
Setting direction for Corporate Vision and strategy requires consideration from stakeholder engagement, a review of the past, finding and predicting risk, establishing connection with stakeholders and communicating exactly issues faced. Not all corporate decisions are pleasant, and not all stakeholders will agree but communication is always a key to any outcome.
As a professional Board director, I am responsible for corporate P & L and profitable investment strategies. Corporate governance is a large part of many government contracts I am responsible for, as is instilling the business ethics into the entire corporate. Corporate culture starts at the top and improper practices, capabilities or behaviour is never acceptable.
Contract negotiation is only part of complex deals. Showstoppers often arise. Solutions need to be found and communicated, relationships need to be maintained at critical junctures to try close the gap and close a deal that works for all parties.
As a partner in current and past businesses, I have experience in shareholders that have paid their way into a business, those that have earned a "sweet equity" stake and those that have been gifted equity positions. It is fair to say stakeholders with"skin in the game" have a stronger view in positive or profitable business outcomes. Genuine interest leads to stronger outcomes.
Garry is an experienced investor in mining and US tech sectors, including long term FFX shareholdings'. Confident in concepts and direction of FFX in its earliest days determined that Garry would make a significant personal investment in the organisation.
Garry has significant experience in business administration, contracts, negotiations and risk analysis including responsibility for P & l, restructuring, business culture and improving outcomes.
He looks to the future and what the Company can do better for the stakeholders. Along with the elected Board, he would engage with the corporate consultants and operational staff for discovery and status of ongoing negotiations, and work to draft a plan of actions. We need to liaise with various shareholder groups to establish needs and work options that might provide suitable outcomes.
Garry makes a commitment to the shareholders and other committed parties to upholding fair business ethics, provide reasonable and responsible solutions to the outstanding business challenges and will work with all parties to close matters and finalise distribution of assets in a manner fair for all within a reasonable timeframe.
