Okay, this is from the LDES cheer leaders, but they seem to think there is something in the way of an energy storage market left out there, for discharge capabilities beyond 4 hours.

"The world’s electricity grids will need to deploy 8 TW of long duration energy storage by 2040 with a market potential of USD 4 trillion."
