i just want to get to the bottom of what is the actual price fmg is receiving. if they're getting $130 tonne for fmg grade ore then that equates to an actual price of $224 a tonne (130 divided by 0.58). Spot prices only reached $185 in their recent april peak, so they can't have achieved that price. the real price is $130 multiplied by 0.58 less shipping costs. fmg has changed the way they express the price so this is not really clear. if anyone else has any insights on this i am happy to be proved wrong.
