@setfire2thehive is the HotCopper expert on rare earths, particularly Ionic. I know that he holds MEI and is very impressed with the deposit. He actually waited until it was officially declared ionic before buying in (and therefore paying a little more than he could have had he bought earlier).

I always prefer Ionic clay so I think that you made the right decision. MEI would be the one that is most easy to process but LIN is a monster and people are saying that it will be supplying REE for 100+ years. Another thing that LIN has going for it, is that the open pit will be at the top of a hill (its like a volcano if you could see under the ground), so much of the hard work will be done using gravity, the cheapest power/labor source you can get.

VMM is where the profits will be for a while though, IMO. It is nestled right next to MEI so likely to be ionic and similar grades. Unbelievably cheap right now with a relatively tiny market cap compared to MEI. The announcement was announced after trading had begun today. If you are lucky enough to spot something like that then jump in as many investors will not yet even know it exists. What does annoy me about REEs is that their value is not yet fully appreciated or priced in (maybe SFTTH could give his opinion on this). I am actually a little under water on LIN (but I am not selling).
