Hi all, I agree with the comments of most posters below, however I believe we're only just waking up - about 5am. Most posters are referring to the tech boom - apparently this had nothing on the resource boom of late 60's. How high did Posiedon go - penny dreadful to +$100?
How do you know it's getting near the top? - Mums & dads who have never owned a share start buying resource stocks. - A few "Henry Kay's" are running full page adds promoting resource stock trading seminars. - The poor unfortunates who were conned into -ve geared investment properties (mainly in Qld), cash em in at 50% loss to invest in booming resource sector. - Your broker tells you to sell your bank stocks & buy resources !! -re TV shows:- "Hot Property" programs are now "Hot Resource Stocks" shows. - Rene R does time for "salting" a gold lease. - The "Backyard Blitz" boys are doin makeovers on outback mining leases. - Silver takes out US$100.
I'm sure you can all think of a few more - but trust me - it's only 5am !!
